We hope you have all had an enjoyable Summer Holiday and are looking forward to the new academic year with lots of exciting new learning and an opportunity to develop new skills.

Whilst Literacy, Numeracy, Personal Social & Emotional Wellbeing and Cultural Diversity along with Physical Development are the four main areas of learning we will be focusing on, we will be planning work in line with the Areas of Learning and Experience (AoLE) laid down within 'A Curriculum for Wales.'

We will endeavour to enable you all  to become:

• ambitious, capable learners ready to learn throughout their lives
• healthy, confident individuals, ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society
• ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world
• enterprising, creative contributors, ready to play a full part in in life and work

Welcome to Bryn Deri Nursery. We are very much looking forward to seeing your little ones in January. Unfortunately this year, due to COVID 19 restrictions we are unable to hold our usual transition session for your child to meet the staff and see their new school. We hope however that you will be able to watch this short video together and help your child prepare for starting nursery in January. There will be lots of exciting things to learn about and they will make lots of new friends too. We can't wait to meet you all. See you all soon in 2021!
