Y5 investigated different materials to find the best ones to build a boat out of to carry treasure. Please see the video here.
As part of half term homework Y5 were set the task to create a 3D model of the globe theater. Back in class they then coded a Microbit using JavaScript to dim LEDs as part of their stage effects within their Globe Theater, take a look here.
Y5 were also given a little independence to choose a science topic that related to the Tudors. Groups were created to investigate: Tudor ecosystems, effects of drugs, harmful affects of microorganisms, day and night/telling the time and properties of metals.
