Y5's homework every week for literacy is the 100 word challenge(wc). This challenge has a different prompt every week. It gives the children the opportunity to be creative in their writing whilst using their imagination and thinking skills.
Many of the 100 wc's are written on j2bloggy via Hwb. This provides the opportunity for everyone within our class to view each others blogs enabling peer assessment(positive comments and correction ideas). As the blogs are viewable by all more self assessment is taking place before posting the blog.
