Bryn Deri Primary school offers a free Welsh Government funded breakfast club for pupils on site each morning and therefore works within the constraints of Welsh Government Guidance and funding allowed.
The aim of the Free Breakfast in Primary Schools scheme is to provide children from Reception to Year 6 with a free healthy breakfast before the start of the school day. Whilst many parents may take advantage of the earlier start of this provision to support childcare arrangements, this Welsh Government funded scheme is not intended to provide childcare.
The Breakfast club at Bryn Deri is managed by our highly qualified staff who offer a safe, nurturing environment for children to begin the day.
Breakfast Club begins at 08:00 each morning. Pupils will remain in breakfast club until 08:50 when they return to class for registration at 08:55.
