CROESO I WEFAN DOSBARTH 4 / WELCOME TO CLASS 4's WEBSITE

Hope you've all had a nice summer holiday and are looking forward to Year 4! Lots of learning and skills building will take place in the year ahead. The many projects we'll be covering this year will give you an opportunity to develop many new skills, and broaden your knowledge and understanding within those topics whilst linking as much as possible to real life situations.

Whilst Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Competency are the main focus for learning, we will be challenging and broadening your knowledge and understanding through many different activities and visits as we explore the six areas of learning (AoLE):

• Languages, Literacy and Communication
• Mathematics and Numeracy
• Science and Technology
• Humanities
• Expressive Arts
• Health and Well-being

We are looking forward to hearing all your ideas through pupil voice to make your learning across all areas interesting and relevant. We will endeavor to enable you all to become:

• Ambitious, capable learners ready to learn throughout your lives
• Healthy, confident individuals ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society
• Ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world
• Enterprising, creative contributors ready to play a full part in life and work
