๐Ÿงง๐Ÿ‰ Nursery Learning: Lunar New Year ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿงง

We really enjoyed learning about Lunar New Year and exploring how it is celebrated ๐ŸŒŸ. The children loved dancing with ribbons and streamers, moving their bodies to music and expressing themselves through dance ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ•บ.

We also enjoyed making our own spring rolls and cooking together. The children were excited to try noodles and rice, sharing food and experiences with their friends ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿฅข. As part of our learning, we listened to the story of The Great Race, helping us understand why Lunar New Year is celebrated and how it links to animals and traditions ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฏ.

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about different cultures through movement, food, stories and play โค๏ธ๐ŸŒ.

๐ŸŒผ Nursery Eisteddfod Fun! โœจ

Our Nursery children have loved their Eisteddfod learning! We painted daffodils from still life ๐ŸŽจ, decorated Welsh hats using our counting and number skills ๐Ÿ”ข๐ŸŽฉ, and made Welsh cakes by following and sequencing a picture recipe ๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿณ๐Ÿง.

We also learned Welsh songs ๐ŸŽถ and shared them with our friends during a mini Eisteddfod ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒŸ

A wonderful celebration of Wales and learning across the Curriculum for Wales, including Expressive Arts, Maths and Numeracy, Languages, Literacy and Communication and Humanities.
