Late Arrivals /Early Leavers
Parents and carers are asked to sign in those pupils who arrive after 08:55 or leave prior to 15:30 via the electronic system in the main foyer giving reasons. Schools are required to record lateness in the register. Parents and carers of children who are persistently late will be contacted by the head teacher in conjunction with the Attendance and Wellbeing Officer, so that school and home can work together to overcome any issues. Children who arrive after the register has closed at 9.25am will be recorded with an unauthorised absence unless there are extenuating circumstances. We ask parents and carers to ensure that children are punctual to avoid losing valuable teaching time.
