Playworks have expanded on the services they offer to the parents and carers of Bryn Deri Primary School by providing morning childcare & breakfast club provision for children in our nursery provision.

The club is based on the school site in the Nursery building and operates Monday – Friday, 8.00 am to the beginning of the school day. The club is registered with The Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) this allows parents and carers to pay their childcare fees via Childcare Vouchers.

The club is open to children that attend the morning nursery session at Bryn Deri Primary School.

This is in addition to the Welsh Government free Breakfast Club offered by the school which aims to provide children with a free healthy breakfast before the start of the school day but is not intended to provide childcare under the scheme guidance.

Playworks childcare offers after school provision for all our pupils from 3:30pm to 6:00pm on site in the Nursery Building allowing children to move seamlessly from the main school to childcare. Older pupils attending extracurricular activities in school will be collected by staff at the end of activities to Playworks childcare.
