Apple Store and Cardiff Story Trip

Todays trip was all about using technology which fits in to our Technotastic theme. Y5 thoroughly enjoyed the trip to the Apple store in St David's 2 where they used the latest iPads and Spheros to enhance their coding skills. At the end of the visit every child received a t-shirt and a usb wrist band.

Whilst half were enjoying coding, the other half of the class were engaged in using technology to enhance their understanding and knowledge of how Cardiff has developed into the city it is today. They looked at all aspects of history, from the coal boom back in the 19th century, the world wars, and the redevelopment of Cardiff as we know it today. A fantastic trip had by all in both locations.
