Playworks are hoping to expand on the services they offer to the parents and carers of Bryn Deri Primary School by providing morning childcare & breakfast club provision. Subject to sufficient demand the club will open from September 2022.

The club will be based in the Guide Hall and will operate Monday – Friday, 7.30 am to the beginning of the school day. The club will be registered with The Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) this allows parents and carers to pay their childcare fees via Childcare Vouchers.

The club will be open to children that attend the morning nursery session at Bryn Deri Primary School as well primary school aged children.

This will be in addition to the Welsh Government free Breakfast Club offered by the school which aims to provide children with a free healthy breakfast before the start of the school day but is not intended to provide childcare under the scheme guidance.

It is hoped that in partnership with Playworks this new venture will support those parents where childcare is required from 7:30am.
