For Roald Dahl Day, the children took part in lots of lovely activities to celebrate the story The Enormous Crocodile!

We built coconut trees using the pegs like the Crocodile tried to disguise himself as.
We made our own paperchain crocodiles.
We read stories in our Reading Corner.
We practised developing our fine motor skills using the tweezers to give the crocodiles teeth.
We coloured in Quentin Blake's illustrations.
And, we had a very fun P.E. session - we used our bodies to act like the different animals from the story.
We moved our bodies like Trunky the elephant, Muggle-Wump the monkey, and the Roly-Poly Bird, we snapped our arms like the Enormous Crocodile and then RAN away like the children in the story when the crocodile wanted to eat them!!
We had a lovely day celebrating Roald Dahl Day!
